Foraged and Found

This live brief, given by Hacer developments alongside Urban Foundry, focused on biophilic living. 'Foraged and Found' is an exploration of Swansea's natural colour palette, derived from its locally growing and abundant plants. These plants are often left to grow wild, however they provide vital food and shelter to local wildlife. Rich, earthy tones and diverse textures are extracted from these rough, lush ecologies hidden with Swansea's urban landscape. Through engaging with local plant-life, learning their roles within the complex natural web, this project encourages respect and responsibility for the environment.
